Use on a cb20 Board

The following is a step-by-step procedure to get started using EEROS on the cb20 Board. It describes how to set up the SDK. The application is developed on a Linux host machine and can then be deployed to the board.

Install Linux Image on cb20 Blue

Make sure to have the newest image from our download section Linux Images installed on your cb20 board, see toradex-easy-installer. This image already contains the EEROS library together with examples. Further is includes necessary hardware libraries, notably flink as well as basic functionalities of ROS.

Get the image from Downloads.

Install SDK on the Host

In order to develop your application on the host, you have to install the cross development SDK.

  1. Get the cross development SDK for the cb20 board from Downloads.
  2. Unpack it on your host system with
    $ tar -vxJf ntb-dev-image-cb20-1.0_sdk.tar.xz
  3. Change into the sdk directory and execute the script therein with
    $ cd sdk
    $ ./tdx-x11-glibc-x86_64-ntb-dev-image-armv7at2hf-neon-toolchain-2.6.4.sh

    Stick with the default target directory for the SDK. If you choose a different directory you have later to manually change the associated entry in config.sh.in.

Install Git

Install the following package on your machine

$ apt-get install git
