====== Use on a Avnet Microzed Board ======
The following is a step-by-step procedure to get started using EEROS on the [[https://wiki.bu.ost.ch/infoportal/embedded_systems/zynq7000/microzed|Microzed Board]]. It describes how to set up the SDK. The application is developed on a Linux host machine and can then be deployed to the board.

===== Install Linux Image on Microzed Board =====

Make sure to have the newest image from [[https://gitlab.ost.ch/tech/inf/projects/petalinux-microzed|Petalinux Microzed]] installed on your [[https://wiki.bu.ost.ch/infoportal/embedded_systems/zynq7000/microzed|Microzed]] board. This image already contains the EEROS library together with examples. Further is includes necessary hardware libraries, notably [[http://flink-project.ch|flink]] as well as basic functionalities of ROS. 


===== Install SDK on the Host =====
In order to develop your application on the host, you have to install the cross development SDK.
  - Get the cross development SDK for the board from [[https://gitlab.ost.ch/tech/inf/projects/petalinux-microzed|Petalinux Microzed]]. 
  - Change into the sdk directory and execute the script therein with <code>$ cd sdk
$ ./tdx-x11-glibc-x86_64-ntb-dev-image-armv7at2hf-neon-toolchain-2.6.4.sh</code>Stick with the default target directory for the SDK. If you choose a different directory you have later to manually change the associated entry in ''config.sh.in''. 


===== Install Git =====
Install the following package on your machine <code>
$ apt-get install git
