This block reads a Beckhoff EL1008 digital input device over EtherCAT and outputs up to 8 digital signals.

For the first two of the eight signals, the block automatically creates an instance of hal::BeckhoffEL1008DigIn. This is a digital input of the HAL and can be used as such. For instance, it could be used as a critical input to the safety system.
